MARKETING SPECIALIST

Status: Full Time, Employee, Exempt
Blynco Window Fashions is seeking a qualified Marketing Specialist capable of building and expanding our brand through web design and content maintenance, social media marketing, webinar development, print and publication design, collateral material, price guides, promotional programs and targeted product marketing. The position will work closely with the President and Vice President of Sales and Marketing to prioritize and develop a broad range of marketing initiatives to support both inside and outside sales, retail dealer retention programs and incentives, research sales channel opportunities, create targeted promotions, support product development and contribute to sampling development. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in marketing with an interest in merchandising and/or interior design.
Primary Responsibilities
• Brand development
• Set and implement marketing goals, objectives, and strategies
• Recommend, monitor and adhere to the marketing budget
• Lead all areas of content generation and production across all media platforms
• Website design and content generation
• Social media marketing and engagement
• Develop marketing support for CRM and outside sales
• Trade show design and participation
• Design print ads and publications
• Webinar development
• Market research, customer surveys and analysis
• Participation in sample and merchandising development
• Recommend methods and procedures to improve marketing efficiency
• Participate in product development and price guide layout and content.
Job Requirements, Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing
• 1-2 years of internship or work experience
• Proficient in the operation of a computer, the internet, Microsoft Office, graphics, desktop publishing software and other media programs
• Experience with the development and ongoing maintenance of social media platforms
• Familiarity with CRM processes
• Excellent verbal communication, technical and creative writing abilities
• Familiarity with market trends and market research methods
• Self-driven, metrics-focused approach
• Periodic travel
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships including members of management, co-workers, customers and vendors
